The Case: 83-Year-Old with Early Alzheimer's Disease and Aggressive Behavior
Drills—interactive, Web-based presentations of an actual case provided by an overseeing clinician—will better enable the participants to understand how to treat complex cases and what actually occurs in real-world situations behind closed psychiatrists’ doors. Participants are able to review a case, answer questions regarding potential treatment options, view peer responses, and learn what actually happened in the case. Each drill provides difficult content on an easy-to-grasp and interesting level, thereby involving the participant in the learning experience. This case explores the situation of a patient who developed aggressive behavior after the onset of Alzheimer's disease.

Self-Assessment Exam: Dementia and Cognitive Function
Self-assessment exams (SAEs) allow participants to test their in-depth knowledge of particular topics in psychopharmacology. SAEs consist of case-based questions, which require applied knowledge of neurobiology, clinical psychiatry, and pharmacology. Each case-based question is followed by a thorough explanation of its answer. At the end of the SAE, participants are provided with a personalized list of recommended study resources based on that participant’s responses.
